The new functionalities in the MyTelenor ,mobile app now offer even more convenient and faster bill payments via bank cards. The novelties were presented at an event at the Telenor Park Office in Sofia
MyTelenor users will no longer have to enter their bank card details every time they wish to pay their bills or top-up a prepaid airtime credit. After successfully completing a payment, they may opt to save their card’s details and use the same card for faster and easy future transactions within the app.
Users will also be able to opt to use their saved bank cards for automated bill payments. In this case, any new monthly bills will be automatically paid with the saved card and Telenor will notify users with an SMS for each transaction. Users may also use this payment options for paying other clients bills. All transactions with the MyTelenor app will be stored and available for review in the clients’ payments history and users may edit their saved card at any time.
Security of the clients’ data is guaranteed by Wirecard AG, a global leader in banking and electronic payment solutions. All payments with Wirecard are made in compliance to world-class security standard and using the newest validation and encryption technologies.
The first 10,000 users, who pay their bill and save their banking card details with the MyTelenor app by July 31, will win special gifts – powerbanks, car shades, baseball hats, sports water bottles and t-shirts.
