"Summer Practice" from Telenor Bulgaria helps young people in their early professional orientation

The Summer Practice program is aimed at supporting the early career orientation of young people between the 16 and 19 years old who are children or relatives of the company employees.

Telenor Bulgaria again shows support to the young people in Bulgaria in their early professional orientation.

Yesterday, with an official opening, was launched the first of its kind summer practice program for young people aged between 16 and 19, aimed entirely at children or relatives of employees in the company.

In the first edition this year 31 girls and boys will gain practical experience and knowledge in various business areas, including retail chain. Each of them will work with dedicated mentor, a professional in their own field, from whom they will be able to find out more about the profession they have chosen and to acquire basic practical knowledge for working in a real business environment.

"The idea for this practice program is dictated by the need and the desire, to build a bridge between the school bench and the business environment. The responsible companies, what I dare to say Telenor Bulgaria is, should think in perspective and make efforts to develop well-trained professionals. The Summer Practice program is another benefit for our employees, with which we invest not only in their professional development, but also that of their children.", said Galina Chuleva, Chief HR Officer at Telenor Bulgaria.

This year in addition to the first edition of Summer Practice program for kids of company’s employees, Telenor Bulgaria will conduct the sixth edition of its regular internship program - Hub by Telenor. It is opened to all students and young professionals at the beginning of their career, who have interest in the business areas in the telecom.
