The new program participants were welcomed at the company’s headquarters by the Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Bulgaria Jason King and the Chief Human Recourses Officer Galina Chuleva. The new interns will work on positions in various business areas in the company, including Marketing, Commercial, Finances, and Technology.
‘In these dynamic times, when many businesses in the country and around the world are facing perhaps one of the most difficult challenges, we decided to keep our internship program and give young people in Bulgaria a chance. This action is a proof that the engine of our success is the constant investment in the Telenor team, its development and realization. The desire to provide the best for our employees and customers every day is what establishes our company as the employer of choice in the country", said Galina Chuleva, Chief People and Culture Officer at Telenor.
More than 600 young people applied for participation in the fifth edition of the internship program Hub by Telenor. The program gives opportunity to 10 participants to work and develop their professional skills in a real business environment.
The internship at Telenor lasts for 12 months, during which the young people will gain valuable practical experience as part of the teams working on real projects developed in the company. Each intern will be presented with an individual development plan, consistent with the current business and strategic goals. During the internship, participants will be able to join numerous initiatives, trainings, and events prepared especially for them, and to get all the benefits available for all Telenor employees.
In the five years since the program has first started, more than 50 interns participated, and over half of them were permanently hired by the company after their internship ended.
