Telenor campaign for unpacked smartphones and gadgets supports the imperial eagle

Telenor's campaign for unpacked phones and smart gadgets to support creating a home for the imperial eagle. Until the end of March, the telecom is conducting an online campaign for the sale of unpacked devices. For each device purchased, 10 BGN will be donated to support the creation and maintenance of a forest that will become a nesting environment for the imperial eagle. The forest, which is going to be planted, is located in the Sakar protected area near Topolovgrad.

The campaign for unpacked devices is happening in Telenor online shop. The telecom clients are able to choose between 70 models of smartphones and smart gadgets. They are offered with discounts in their cash and on lease prices compared to the prices of the same but packed devices.

The initiative in support of the Imperial Eagle is in partnership with the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, which has been working for many years to protect this globally endangered species. The funds that Telenor will provide as a result of the campaign will be used to create and maintain the forest, which is especially important in the first years of afforestation.

Planting new trees is of crucial importance for improving the nesting habitats of the Imperial Eagle. It is one of the rarest birds both in Bulgaria and globally. In the past, it was among the most common birds of prey in our country, and currently, its population numbers only 35 pairs.
