Telenor offers the GeoSCAN Meteoservice which assists farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs with detailed localized weather information which helps them to easily and conveniently plan various field activities, including fertilization and plant protection.

GeoSCAN Meteo offers the most important data on the current weather conditions for specific farming fields via the free to download mobile app for iOS and Android. It has a convenient user interface which allows users to follow the current air and soil temperature, wind speed and other indicators and to compare them with data in other locations.

The app also offer a 7-day weather forecast, including highest and lowest expected temperatures, speed and direction of wind, precipitation quantity values, etc, as well as day-by-day and summary historical data. GeoSCAN Meteo app also offers 7-day risk evaluation for plant protection application and a map visualization of farming fields that qualify for subsidies across the country.

Telenor offers GeoSCAN Meteo in co-operation with Nik Electronics Ltd. The Basic bundle is tagged at BGN 14.99 per month with a two-year subscription and includes a virtual weather station and up to 10 checks of farming fields data per day. The Basic bundle price with a one-year subscription is BGN 19.99 per month.

The Pro Bundle costs BGN 74.99 per month with a two-year subscription and includes a physical weather station, installed within 10 days of subscription, and up to 25 checks of farming fields’ data per day. The monthly fee for the Pro bundle with a one-year subscription is BGN 99.99.
