Telenor launched the sixth edition of its career development and social integration program for people with physical challenges Open Mind. The two-years initiative gives people with disabilities the opportunity to develop their social and functional abilities in real business environment, to improve their qualification and competitiveness and become more confident and successful in their career.
Open Mind is one of Telenor's most sustainable and long-term program. Over 20 people with physical challenges became part of the program in the past five editions. All today successfully realized on the labor market, while five are employed on permanent contracts at Telenor Bulgaria. The program has excellent results in terms of inclusion of people with disabilities and contribution to this significant segment of the labor market in the country, where both the state and businesses are focusing more and more efforts.
The unique design of Open Mind allows not only to form competitive professionals among people with disabilities, but also creates a working environment conducive to the understanding and commitment of the company's own teams.

Open Mind program builds on three key elements that complement each other. Open Mind - aimed at jobseekers with disabilities; Open Mind Academy - for those in need of support for professional development and training; and Open Mind Workshops - designed for businesses with a sustainable interest in hiring people with disabilities, which focus on the exchange of good practices
In this year's edition, Telenor will give participants a chance to work in six different areas. There are open positions in the field of marketing, sales (private customers; sales and customer service; business customers) finance, legal advice. The two-year program provides training, work on company’s current business projects under the mentorship of leading experts in the respective fields and with competitive remuneration. Candidates pre-selection is supported by JAMBA, Telenor's partner in the program.
Applicants can apply by sending a CV and cover letter and by registering on the following link until September 15, 2020. A high-school or university degree is required depending on the chosen field as well as computer literacy, strong motivation and willingness to learn. Proficiency in English will be considered an advantage.
Upon completion of the two-year program, participants will receive support for their professional realisation in Telenor or outside the company.
