Telenor will invest in additional education degrees and qualifications of 11 employees through the Telenor Educational Grants development program. During a special event today Jason King, CEO, and Galina Chuleva, Chief People and Strategy Officer, awarded the employees with the Telenor Education Grant certificate. They will start their education in four education degrees – eMBA, miniMBA, Chartered and Expert Qualifications.
Every year Telenor employees have the opportunity to acquire additional educational degrees in a number of domains. They include specializations/qualifications in accounting, marketing and human resources development and participating in a number of renowned programs as ACCA, CIM, CIMA, CISP and PMI in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as additional trainings in key competencies such as Power BI, strategic marketing, Big Data and Data Science, change management, and management positions trainings.
Telenor has invested in over 7000 hours of online and face-to-face trainings for its employees just for the first seven months of this year. All Telenor employees have unlimited access to over 16 000 LinkedIn Learning courses.

Hub by Telenor and Open Mind are also part of the Telenor programs aimed at talent development and retention. The Hub by Telenor internship program is focused on developing key skills, giving professionals a secure start of their career development and increasing labour market competitiveness. Open Mind is Telenor's career development program specially developed for people with disabilities, which supports them by providing them the opportunity to work in a real business environment and building social and professional skills for better integration at Telenor or other companies.
