Nearly 30 companies passed Telenor's anti-corruption training

Nearly 30 companies, suppliers and partners of Telenor have passed the anti-corruption training of the operator. The employees have spent approximately 300 hours in training within only two months.

The anticorruption.telenor.bgwebsite is free of charge and available to everyone. It offers interactive trainings on the topic of corruption and practical exercises on recognizing corruptive behavior and practices and the ways to counter-act them, based on the global experience of the companies within Telenor Group. The trainings could assist small and medium-sized enterprises to prepare their staff and teach them how to react in such situations and assist the anti-corruption efforts in Bulgaria.

The website also offers a template for a company anti-corruption policy that can easily be adapted to any company’s specific needs and practices. It also has the Conduct Principles for Telenor Partners and Suppliers and direct links with the Telenor Ethics & Compliance Hotline .

The Anti-corruption training is part of Telenor’s program on responsible business behavior. The Agreement of Responsible Business Conduct and the adjoining principles are a mandatory element of any relationship between any Telenor Group company and an external party, prior to signing a contract. In addition to the mandatory requirement for suppliers, a team of Telenor employees conducts yearly trainings aimed at unifying and improving the understanding of everyone about the sustainable development policy of the operator.
