Telenor’s Capture among most wanted mobile applications in Bulgaria

Photo & video storage and sharing application Capture, developed by Telenor Digital, ranked number one in the Apple App Store free apps chart in Bulgaria just a month after it was launched in the country. Capture also ranked at #6 in the Google Play chart in the week ending on July 3.

Since its introduction to Bulgarian market on June 1, Capture had attracted more than 33,000 active users in the country, with an average of some 1,000 new users joining every day.

So far, Capture’s Bulgarian users had uploaded more than 18 TB of content - photos and videos for secure storage and sharing in the cloud and has uploaded an estimated average of 250,000 photo and video files per day.

Capture is a cloud service which allows users to save, see and share their favorite snapshots fast and easy, and free up storage on their smartphones and tablets. The service is available to all customers, regardless of whether they are Telenor subscribers or not. Users only need to download the respective mobile application, available on Android and iOS, and to sign up. Upon registration, each Capture user automatically gets 2GB of free storage for photo and video sharing, and Telenor subscribers can get from 10 to 100 GB additional free cloud storage depending on the selected tariff plan if they renew their existing contract or sign a new one.
