Telenor Bulgaria continues ARPU, Revenues and EBITDA growth in Q4 / FY’2018

During Q4 2018, Telenor Bulgaria maintained its revenue and EBITDA growth trends observed during the earlier part of the year.

Total revenue for Q4 reached 191m BGN, mainly driven by improved ARPU during the quarter (15.4 BGN). The total revenue growth was also positively influenced by an increase in device revenues, chiefly as a result of a stronger customer focus on high-end smartphones.

Revenue growth, in combination with ongoing efficiency efforts, resulted in an improved EBITDA, of 68m BGN for the period. Following summer prepaid seasonality, the customer base slightly decreased during the quarter to 3.07M customers, of which 20% constitute prepaid subscribers.

During this period, Telenor remained focused on delivering its hallmark strong service quality and new digital offers to its customers. The launch of the Buy Online service and a device buyback program were among the several new exciting benefits experienced by customers, all of which supported by Telenor’s high quality mobile network.
