Telenor launches its paid internship program for a fourth year

For a fourth year in a row, Telenor launches its Hub by Telenor internship program. It offers 20 young people a one-year paid internship at the company, thus enabling the interns to gain real professional experience in telecommunications.

Hub by Telenor is open to students in their final year of study or to bachelors and masters who have graduated in the previous 12 months. The program is targeting curious young people interested in mobile and digital technologies with proficient English.

The open positions in the program this year are in the departments of Finance, Technology, Digital Services and Marketing and Legal. The positions include digital content development for the company website and MyTelenor app, working with partners for digital services, data analytics, software development and support, etc. The selected candidates will be part of teams that work on real and important company projects in the listed areas.

In the first two editions of the program, Telenor welcomed a total of 20 trainees, 15 of them being employed on a permanent basis after the end of their internship. The current third edition of Hub by Telenor ends in November this year, with each participant being consulted and encouraged to apply for open permanent positions in order to remain with the company.

Those who wish to participate in the fourth edition of Hub by Telenor can apply for a specific position through the special page on the company's website, by submitting their CV by August 31, 2019. The approved candidates will be invited for an interview and 20 of them will take part in the program. Program participants will begin their internship at Telenor on October 1, 2019.

As part of the company, they will work full-time for a motivating financial reward. Within a year, they will be able to work and learn from an international team of experts in an open and motivating work environment. After the end of the program, trainees who have performed well, may be offered a permanent job at Telenor.
