Telenor to mark network improvements with data bundles for clients

So far into the year, Telenor had improved the capacity and the quality of the user experience of its network in over 640 locations across Bulgaria including 60 locations where 4G coverage was improved. Telenor chose to mark these achievements by a campaign with data bundles at no additional charge for its clients.

As a result of the various initiatives for improving the network capacity, coverage and quality of network experience for clients, the total mobile data traffic carried on the Telenor mobile network for the first nine months of 2019 increased by almost 26% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Mobile data traffic via 4G for the same period increased by the impressive 44% year-on-year. As of end September 2019, calls via VoLTE technology comprised some 11.3% of all voice traffic and mobile data traffic via 4G comprised more than 85% of the all data moved over the network.

The company will continue to improve its network as part of its long-term development strategy. To mark its latest achievements, Telenor commences a campaign that will allow customers to personally test and enjoy the improved network experience and learn more about Telenor mobile network.

As of October 23 through November 30, 2019, all Telenor post-paid subscribers who had downloaded and installed the latest version of the YettelApp mobile app may now click on the special campaign banner in the app and get a bundle of up to 1000 MB for mobile data at maximum speed at no additional charge. The bundle is valid for 24 hours and may be used both in Bulgaria and while roaming in Zone EU. All customers may participate once per day and get up to one bundle a day during the campaign period. Participation in the campaign is possible only from Bulgaria.
