Теленор търси българските представители на Telenor Youth Forum 2016

Telenor is looking for active, ambitious and engaged young people to represent Bulgaria at the fourth consecutive Telenor Youth Forum. The local delegates will be selected with a contest and will have the chance to join a global team of young leaders to tackle social challenges, as well as to attend international gatherings in Oslo and Bangkok.

Starting today, Telenor’s contest is open for talented youth between 20 and 28 years of age living in Bulgaria who are fluent in English and are attending university or have completed higher education. Candidates are invited to prepare a short text (blogpost) on the ‘Digitalization for Peace’ topic presenting their passion and experience in driving social, economic and/or environmental change.

Applicants need to upload their CVs and blogposts at the online platform of the contest till 4th August, 2016. Then, the shortlisted 4 finalists will be invited to a video interview regarding their application. A jury of Telenor Bulgaria, Junior Achievement and WWF representatives will select the two winners who will represent Bulgaria at the Telenor Youth Forum 2016.

The annual Telenor Youth Forum brings together young leaders from Telenor’s 13 markets. Participants have the opportunity to share their ideas and work together to tackle social challenges through the use of digital solutions.

This year’s Telenor Youth Forum begins in Oslo, December 8-11, during the week of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. The youth will meet and discuss their ideas with leaders and luminaries within their fields. Participants will form teams, with each team dedicated to a social challenge. They will continue working on their assigned challenges in the next months and will meet again in May 2017, in Bangkok. The solutions they create will be presented in a digital exhibition in collaboration with the Nobel Peace Center.
