Pay with Telenor service now available for App Store, Apple Music, iTunes & iBooks purchases

Beginning today, Telenor will offer customers the option to pay for purchases in the App Store and for Apple Music, iTunes and iBooks, directly from their mobile phone account via the Pay with Telenor carrier billing service — providing a safe, secure and versatile payment method to meet Bulgaria’s growing demand for digital entertainment.

The service will be available to all Telenor customers in Bulgaria for postpaid and prepaid mobile plans. The launch of the service sees Telenor take a dynamic new step in the development of its financial services and customer service.

Using the service is simple. Telenor customers with a new or existing Apple ID select “Mobile Phone" as a payment method in your account settings for the App Store, Apple Music, iTunes and iBooks from their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac, or on iTunes from their PC. The new payment option will be configured automatically and immediately allows for one-tap purchasing from your Apple devices, including Apple TV and Apple Watch.

The monthly limit for purchases from App Store, Apple Music, iTunes and iBooks via the Pay with Telenor service is set at BGN 20 for subscribers will monthly credit limit of below BGN 100 and to BGN 50 for customers with credit limit of over BGN 100. Prepaid users will have monthly limit of their prepaid airtime credit but not more than BGN 20 per month.
