Telenor awarded for its payroll giving program

Telenor was awarded Silver Mark for Workplace Donations 2015. Granted by the Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation (BCAF), the Bulgarian Association for People Management and the Bulgarian Society for Public Relations (BSPR), this recognition is given to companies that stimulate employees to be involved in socially significant causes as part of its corporate responsibility policy.

I am honoured that we have been awarded for a second consecutive year thanks to all benefactors in Telenor’s payroll giving program. I would like to express my gratitude to my colleagues who participate in the program and to those who help us make it more and more successful every year, said Desislava Danova, Corporate Responsibility Specialist in Telenor.

Last year the company won the Bronze Mark for its payroll giving program. In addition, Telenor supported the most popular cause in the program by donating BGN 6,000 for the education of disadvantaged young people under BCAF’s Ready for Success project. In 2015 the company also introduced a corporate volunteering program.
