Telenor implements GDPR regulations in time for May 25 deadline

Telenor is prepared and ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming to force across the EU member states on May 25 and offers its services in full compliance with the new regulation.

Telenor has adopted a new Personal Data Policy which describes in a consumer-friendly way the rationale and the manner in which Telenor collects, stores and manages their personal data in compliance with GDPR. The policy also details the opportunities that clients have to monitor and manage their consent for personal data use.

Answers to the most frequently asked questions related to GDPR and Telenor’s personal data policy are also freely available at the company website (Bulgarian only). Clients may also direct their queries to Telenor customer care center at www.telenor.bg/en/private/online-request.

The adoption of the GDPR does not require any changes to the existing mobile and fixed line services contracts.
