Telenor improves digital channels’ security, introduces customer single sign-on

As of today, Yettel customers will use a single password to access the operator’s digital channels, namely the YettelApp, the YettelApp internet portal and the Buy Online shop service.

The new functionality will provide for safer and more convenient online shopping and service for Yettel customers over these channels. For example, users of the Yettel mobile app will be able to see their personalized offers from Buy Online without the necessity to leave the app and sign in the online shop service.

From now on, users who register with any of the digital channels will use as login their mobile number only and will verify it with a one-off code they will get via text. Next they will have to choose a password which will be valid for logging into all Yettel digital channels.

Existing users of the Yettel internet portal and Buy Online will continue using their present passwords which will be also valid for Yettel mobile app.
