Telenor launches the “Online Protect” service for protection from dangers online

Telenor offers the online dangers protection service “Online protect” which is easily activated and managed through the MyTelenor mobile app. The service provides an easy way for clients to protect themselves and the people close to them, and it doesn’t require the installation of additional software because it’s integrated into the Telenor network. The service is part of Telenor’s long-term efforts to provide safer internet for its clients.

“Online Protect” provides protection from different dangers online, including from viruses and other malicious software, phishing, spam sites, compromised sites and others.

The service also provides clients with capabilities for content access management in the Telenor network. It includes filtering of websites based on categories and creation of lists with allowed and forbidden pages and websites. All clients who use “Online Protect” can also see different types of statistics through the MyTelenor mobile application.

Activation of “Online Protect” is possible through the MyTelenor app and in all Telenor stores. Customers can choose which of their numbers to have the service activated for, and they can manage the protection, filtering and access lists for each number through the MyTelenor app.

Telenor offers “Online protection” for BGN 1.20 per month for all users of mobile subscription plans which have mobile internet included. On activation of the service, customers get a three months trial period. For customers with subscription plans with a monthly fee of over BGN 50, the service doesn’t require extra payment.
