Telenor opens new positions for people with disabilities for the fourth year in a row

Telenor starts the fifth edition of its career development program for people with different abilities Open Mind. The company opens new positions in seven different units. The initiative gives people with disabilities the opportunity to gain professional qualification, to improve their competitiveness in real working environment and to develop and demonstrate their abilities and skills in real working environment. For four years now, the program has achieved excellent results in integrating people with disabilities into the country’s labor market.

Those wishing to join the program may apply for the following units in Telenor –Marketing, Supply and Logistics, Fleet, Talent Acquisition, Accounting, Business Management System Development, Data Bases and IT Support. The company offers open and accessible working environment, with remuneration package corresponding to the position. After the completion of the two-year program, the participants will receive support for their professional career within or outside the company.

The candidates’ selection will again be made with the help of the non-governmental organization JAMBA, that helps people with different abilities to become more successful on the labor market. Thanks to JAMBA, Open Mind will reach over 3,000 people, with the platform team conducting the initial selection and phone interviews of the candidates. The campaign will be supported by the professional expertise of the founders of JAMBA - Yoana Koleva and Iva Tsolova.

Open Mind is a two-year program for people with disabilities that gives them the opportunity to develop their social and functional skills, gain self-esteem and be more successful. Moreover, the program broadens the horizons of Telenor Bulgaria employees and increases their engagement. For two years, the participants in the program work on projects in different units of the company and exchange experience with leading experts in the respective areas. They also benefit from various development opportunities in Telenor Bulgaria.

Candidates must submit their CV and motivation letter by registering here from August 29 until September 17, 2019. They must have completed secondary or university education depending on the chosen field, computer literacy, strong motivation and desire to learn. English proficiency is an advantage.
