Telenor received an award for its payroll giving program

Telenor was awarded Bronze Mark for Workplace Donations 2016. Granted by the BCause Foundation, the Bulgarian Association for People Management and the Bulgarian Society for Public Relations (BSPR), this recognition is given to companies that stimulate employees to be involved in socially significant causes as part of its corporate responsibility policy.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them for participating in the program and for their wholehearted help to the ones in need," said Irina Vasilevska, Chief Corporate & Legal Affairs Officer at Telenor.

Telenor has been awarded for its payroll giving program for a third consecutive year. Last year the company won the Silver Mark, while as of 2015, Telenor supports one of the most popular causes in the program by donating BGN 6,000 annually for the education of disadvantaged young people under BCause's Ready for Success project.

As part of Telenor's corporate responsibility policy, company's employees have also the opportunity to participate in the corporate volunteering program. The main advantage of the program is that every employee has the opportunity to support a cause of their choice.
