Telenor refunds first purchase of content on Google Play worth up to BGN 10

Telenor will offer its customers a refund of the first purchase of digital content on Google Play worth up to BGN 10, paid via the Pay with Telenor service. The campaign commences on February 10, 2017 and is valid until March 31, 2017 or until reaching the predefined 35,000 redemptions.   

The offer is valid for all Telenor customers with Android-powered devices who have never purchased content from Google Play using the Pay with Telenor service. Customers can get refunded for the purchase of any content on Google Play ranging from top games, photo editing apps, kids and sport content and many others. In order to take advantage of it, they need to have subscribed or registered a prepaid card before February 10, 2017.

In case the customer makes more than one eligible purchase Telenor will only refund the first one at a maximum amount of BGN 10. The purchase price will first be charged to their current bill or deducted from the respective available credit and then the customer will receive a notification SMS for the refunded amount.

The refund of the first purchase of digital content on Google Play is the second joint initiative of Telenor and Google for the Pay with Telenor service. During the first campaign, which took place in December 2016 - January 2017, Telenor and Google refunded a total of more than 15,000 purchases. During the same period, Telenor reported 63% increase in subscribers using Pay with Telenor.

The Pay with Telenor service allows mobile content purchases in Google Play without using a credit or debit card, by adding them directly to the Telenor user's monthly bill or available credit. The service is available after registration, while the monthly purchase limit is BGN 20.
