Telenor updates its pre-paid service start packs

As of today, Telenor will offer its updated pre-paid start packs for mobile data, voice and data and its Tourist pre-paid pack with MB and international call minutes. The new Telenor BGN 8 pre-paid start pack offers 100 off-net call minutes, 100 on-net call minutes and 100 on-net SMS as well as 2000 MB of national data on maximum speed, valid for 14 days. The start pack also gives 10 GB of photo and video storage space via the Capture app and BGN 3 of airtime, valid for 60 days. All national call minutes and MB can be used with the company 4G network and may be also used for roaming in Zone

As of tomorrow, Telenor offers its new subscription plans Total for residential customers in which all national minutes may be used for calls in roaming in the European Union zone. The new Total subscription plans offer improved bundles with more national mobile data, internet traffic in roaming in the EU zone as well as 4G network access for the full duration of contract. Telenor extends 4G network coverage to over 6,500 km of roads in Bulgaria

As of end-April, Telenor 4G network coverage was extended to over 6,500 kilometers of the country’s main road. Thanks to the company’s ongoing 4G network expansion and optimization program, Telenor 4G services are now available on more than 700 km or 95% of the country’s highways, as well as on more than 2,800 km (95%) of the first-class and over 3,000 km (77%) second-class roads in Bulgaria ¹. Sasa Filipovic appointed interim CEO of Telenor Bulgaria

Mr. Sasa Filipovic was appointed interim Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Bulgaria, effective May 20, and will replace Mr. Michael Foley who was appointed CEO of Grameenphone Bangladesh, part of Telenor Group.
