Telenor registers record-high usage of voice services on March 8

Telenor registered record high daily usage of voice services during this year's International Women's Day. On this year's March 8, a day in which Telenor network traditionally experiences extremely heavy traffic, voice usage was up by 23%, compared to March 8 in 2015. Telenor 4G network also marked record high daily usage since the launch of the company's 4G network on December 1, 2015.

Telenor opens renovated lab at the Technical University of Sofia

Telenor opened the renovated Antennas and Microwave Communications laboratory for the students of the Faculty of Telecommunications at the Technical University of Sofia. Telenor provided fully operational telecom equipment for the lab and refurbished it, thus granting about BGN 45,000. Telenor working hours on March 3 and 4

Due to the upcoming official nonworking days, most Telenor shops will be closed on the 3rd March, Bulgarian national holiday. Only shops located in malls will be open as per the malls’ working schedule during the holidays. On 4th March, Friday, all Telenor shops will be open according to their Saturday working hours. Each shop will have an information signboard indicating its exact schedule during the holidays. Telenor official partner stores will follow their own working time schedule.

Telenor wins responsible business award for its Open Mind program

Telenor won the second prize in the Investor in Human Capital category for 2015 in this year's competition of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF). The company was awarded for its Open Mind program for professional development and social inclusion of people with disabilities. School modernization project supported by Telenor awarded IT project of the year 2015

The project for creating a Leadership Centre at 19th Elin Pelin School in Sofia implemented with Telenor’s support was awarded IT Project of the year 2015 in the Education category. The contest is held for a 12th consecutive year by Computerworld monthly. In the beginning of last year, Telenor donated BGN 107,000 to equip the Leadership Centre with up-to-date educational technology. The Centre consists of nine labs, including entrepreneurship space, English, German and Norwegian language labs, mathematics, geography and IT labs, as well as a library.
