Telenor Bulgaria continues ARPU, Revenues and EBITDA growth in Q4 / FY’2018

During Q4 2018, Telenor Bulgaria maintained its revenue and EBITDA growth trends observed during the earlier part of the year. Total revenue for Q4 reached 191m BGN, mainly driven by improved ARPU during the quarter (15.4 BGN). The total revenue growth was also positively influenced by an increase in device revenues, chiefly as a result of a stronger customer focus on high-end smartphones. Revenue growth, in combination with ongoing efficiency efforts, resulted in an improved EBITDA, of 68m BGN for the period. At a special event held today, Telenor presented its latest offer - 10,000 MB of mobile data at maximum speed free-of-charge and free traffic in the Play Diema Xtra and HBO GO apps for all Telenor post-paid plans subscribers. Telenor starts online registration of interest for purchase of the new Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+

Telenor warns about attempts for fraud

Telenor would like to inform and warn about the numerous recent attempts for defrauding users (phishing) and for fraudulent personal data collection with fake websites and email messages in which Telenor logo and trademarks have been unlawfully used. Telenor has taken the necessary actions to stop these fraudulent activities and is co-operating with the respective authorities for the apprehension of the perpetrators behind these attempts.
