How long we keep users’ personal data

Как събираме лични данни

Yettel stores users’ personal data for as long as necessary to attain the aims stated in this Personal Data Policy, or to meet the requirements of the legislation.

In view of the fulfillment of our obligations arising out of the tax and accounting legislation data regarding a user are stored for a period of 11 years as from the time of termination of his/her last contract as far as the user does not have any unpaid liabilities to Yettel. After the expiration of the periods for personal data processing the same are anonymized or deleted/destroyed unless:


•such data are necessary for pending legal, arbitration, administrative or enforcement proceedings, or in case that a complaint has been filed by the respective user, which must be considered by Yettel; or
• the personal data are safe has exercised his/her right to request the restriction of processing of personal data related to him/her;

Yettel makes efforts to ensure that users’ personal data being processed are updated (and corrected if necessary) as well as that no data are stored, which are not necessary for the attainment of the aims described above.
