Definitions in the sense of privacy policy upon campaigns

Practically, this is any information that identifies a specific individual or relates to an individual that can be identified directly or indirectly.

(Amended and supplemented on 02.12.2021, effective as of 02.12.2021) The types of personal data are: Basic data; Data on Yettel services and products; Data for communication with the Participants; Data related to the awarding of Participants; Data provided for participation in a Campaign.

(Amended on 02.12.2021, effective as of 02.12.2021) Basic data are:
•Full name;
•Age limit, if determined in the rules and terms and condition for conducting the Campaign.
•Other data stipulated in the specific Campaign.

(Supplemented on02.12.2021, effective as of 02.12.2021) These are data of individuals that Yettel processes in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Yettel Bulgaria EAD, published on www.telenor.bg/privacy, excluding traffic data (usage data), used device data and location data.

(Supplemented on 02.12.2021, effective as of 02.12.2021) These are data that are processed in connection with the communication between Yettel and the Campaign Participants, in regard to the specific conditions of the Campaign. Such are their email addresses, addresses and/or telephone numbers. It is important to point out that for Campaigns that do not require registration by the Participants (when they are users of Yettel services and products), numbers, addresses and/or e-mail addresses of the Participants can be obtained from the Data on Yettel services and products.

Example: In the event that some of the Participants in a Campaign related to the distribution of a prize are drawn and announced as winners in the Campaign, Yettel will contact them via calls/messages in connection with them receiving the respective announced prize.

(Amended on 02.12.2021, effective as of 02.12.2021) These are data that are processed during the conduct of Campaigns for which a prize fund is allocated. Their processing is necessary in order to send or receive the respective prize to/from the drawn and announced winning Participant. These are also the data that are processed for the purposes of preparation and issuance of an official note in accordance with the tax legislation, as well as for the storage of a copy of it within the terms provided for by normative acts.

Personal data which the Participants choose on their own to provide to Yettel in order to participate in a Campaign or which Yettel has stated as necessary for the inclusion in the Campaign. The provision of such data is voluntary but without them Yettel may reject the participation in the Campaign and/or the awarding of the prizes announced in the respective Campaign.

Campaigns are separately organized initiatives of Yettel with clearly defined purposes and period of conducting, e.g. ones related to stating in advance one’s desire to purchase/hire-purchase devices, participation in campaigns to win prizes, participation in various initiatives of Yettel without prize money, etc.

Processing of personal data means any use of personal data.

Processing of personal data are for example the actions of:
• Collection;
• Recording;
• Storage;
• Change;
• Retrieval;
• Disclosure;
• Restriction;
• Erasure;
• Destruction, etc.

(Amended and supplemented on 02.12.2021, effective as of 02.12.2021) An individual: (i) who has registered to participate or has otherwise applied to participate in the Campaign; (ii) whose data are processed by Yettel in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Yettel Bulgaria EAD, published on www.telenor.bg/privacy, in connection with Yettel products and/or services and who meets the criteria for participation provided in the pre-announced Conditions by Yettel, and therefore included in it by Yettel without registration.

Anonymization is an operation alternative to the deletion or destruction of personal data. By such an operation all elements which directly or indirectly identify a person are irretrievably removed. Anonymized data are not personal data.

Upon a restriction on processing Yettel may only store the relevant personal data unless: (а) the user has given his/her consent; or (b) data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; (c) data processing is necessary for the protection of the rights of another natural person; or (d) there are important grounds of public interest for the Republic of Bulgaria or the European Union.

These are the terms and conditions applicable for a Campaign and governing: (а) the subject matter of the Campaign; (b) the terms and conditions for participation/inclusion in the Campaign; (c) the mechanism of conducting the Campaign, including the duration of the Campaign; (d) prize money, if stipulated, etc.
